Nature, in my opinion, is an idea that includes everything on this earth, phenomenons and all, which are not created by man. I believe that although what we create is not a part of nature, we are. It abides all around us and even lives inside of us to help us survive and grow. For example, our bodies contain up to seventy-five percent of water and that water does not just magically appear there; it comes from what we consume. The water we drink comes from springs and rivers which would not exist if not from clouds that carry and release rain. So nature is and always has been inside of us from the moment of conception, helping us to survive and thrive each and every day we live. Herbs, vitamins, and supplements which help us to grow, come from resources which are grown naturally on the earth.
Although we can hold things that live and grow within nature, we cannot hold nature itself. I believe
it is more of an idea than an actual place. Everyone thinks of nature differently, and what some might say looks and feels like nature, some say otherwise. Nature fits and exists in our perception and no two perceptions are alike. My idea of nature comes straight from who I believe created it. I am a firm religious believer in God, in His Gospel, and that He created all that is nature. I see so much of what earth has to offer us, to heal us, making our lives more satisfying and without a doubt I cannot say it developed itself on its own. There is and always have been a much higher power creating all that we see around us and every time I feel His Holy Spirit, I feel safe, calm, and humbled which are characteristics of what some might feel in their idea of nature.
Furthermore, I firmly believe earth, and all that inhabits it, were created for us. We humans have the highest intelligence on earth and that intelligence can either
replenish the earth of what we’ve taken and destroyed from it or deplete it completely. One of the best things about nature I love is the ever-changing weather. I love sitting outside on my front porch with my parents watching the dark clouds and thunderstorms engulf the sky, then rain down on us with high winds and loud thunder. I also love the sunshine with a warm temperature and a good breeze. The snow that falls (not in the South of course) is beautiful and lovely to watch and play in. Nature has so much to offer if we open our hearts and see all that God created for us.
